Details: Gentle and quiet group. Heifers respect an electric fence very well. Used in a quick moving rotational grazing system with single strand high tensile/poly electric fence and traditional barbed wire fences. They come when called to new pasture. Have also been worked and driven by horses, dogs, and quads.
The bulls have been used on our own heifers in previous years. They are easy calving and the calves were good size for a heifer, healthy and uniform.
These heifers were not pampered in anyway. They come bred and in good condition off rough low quality native ground that included open upland, dense bush and swampy ground. Our main goal is to push them hard in their first year so that there are no surprises down the road. We believe the cow should work for you and not you for it.
