Details: Rob Wunder: “Selling bred females is new to us, however developing and raising them is not. We cull hard and produce them in a manner that is tailored to longevity & productivity. These heifers come from a cow herd that has been in the family for 3 generations now! We preg check every fall with an average conception rate in the mid 90's. Generally we cull cows at age 13 for age. We focus on having these cows work for us & they can handle a diet that includes a fair amount of roughage. They know how to graze through the snow and maintain good condition. This year's group of heifers are a set we are very proud of and wouldn't give a second thought to calving out. This listing is approximately half of our bred heifers that we produced this year. Willing to work with the buyer to make this an experience that they would repeat in the future! If you come look at these heifers in their "working clothes" and are not satisfied, I will fill your truck full with fuel!”
