Details: These are home raised 2nd calvers out of our own heifer program. As heifers they were pelvic measured prior to breeding. These were heifers that calved and lost their calf in a nasty April storm. We rebred them alongside our bred heifers, so they are bred to easy calver Redline genetics. Shouldn’t have to touch these cows at calving. We try and select maternal genetics that will keep good feet, udders and longevity in our own cows and trust these genetics will work in the new owner’s program as well.
